You can see the waves the rushing water has left in the soft sandstone. Would you want to be here in the middle of a rainstorm? The answer is no. Although I have to say, I have this perverse desire to anchor myself into the middle of a slot canyon in a shark cage with a big-'ol air tank and a camera, right before a big thunderstorm. I bet it'd be one hell of a rush!
